Ousmane Dembele’s Recuperation Is Being Carefully Monitored By Barcelona To Prevent Future Injuries.

Ousmane Dembele has now been sidelined for Barcelona for more than two months despite an earlier diagnostic that said he would be out for 5–6 weeks.

After sustaining a thigh injury during Barcelona’s win against Girona in January, Dembele has been out. That was his first injury in 14 months, after struggling with a number of them throughout his time in Catalonia.

Dembele’s knee is still bothering him, therefore it is unlikely that he will make a comeback before El Clasico this past weekend. He is also not anticipated to make a comeback in the coming weeks.

According to a sports newspaper, this was done to help Dembele become better. To relieve any pressure on Dembele to be ready by a certain date, they are willing to be more cautious rather than to establish a deadline.

Raphinha has stepped up in Dembele’s absence, so fortunately for Barcelona, they haven’t seen much of a difference. But, Xavi Hernandez will be eager to get him back before the season is out.
