I Regret Leaving CHELSEA, Says Willian
|Willian, a winger for Fulham, has said that leaving Chelsea was a grave mistake.
The Brazilian said that almost three years ago, he should not have left Chelsea for Arsenal.
After seven trophy-filled years at Stamford Bridge, Willian left Chelsea after only being given a two-year deal.
Arsenal seized the chance, signed him for free, and extended a three-year deal to him.
Under Mikel Arteta’s guidance, Willian had a horrible experience in North London and struggled to succeed.
The striker has been in superb form since joining Fulham in London, and tomorrow at Craven Cottage, he will take on Arsenal.
When asked by Sky Sports whether he regretted leaving Chelsea, he replied:
“Yes, I wish I hadn’t left… I think to myself, “I wish I had stayed,”
