Eddie Nketiah Was Honored For His Magnificent Performance Against Man United
|Eddie Nketiah, who took over for Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal, has received praise from former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
Nketiah’s performance against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday delighted the former West Ham United manager.
Nketiah was the star of the show as Arsenal thrashed the Red Devils to build a five-point lead in the Premier League standings. He scored twice in the victory.
The Englishman equalized for the Gunners with a spectacular header in the first half before hooking in the winning goal as the Gunners defeated Erik ten Hag’s team 3-2.
Redknapp remarked that as it became apparent that Arsenal’s star striker, Jesus, would miss a significant amount of time, people began to worry about them.
He told BetVictor, “The young man deserves a lot of credit, and I loved what I saw from him yesterday.”
“He made both finishes appear effortless and had great mobility in the box. Particularly the second, that indicates a natural finisher.
