The Barcelona striker Memphis Depay caught Manchester United’s attention. (SEE WHY)

Manchester United is apparently interested in signing former striker Memphis Depay, who has been represented by the Netherlands at the World Cup despite missing the most of the season due to a thigh injury.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the situation at Barcelona in case a bargain can be found. Depay, who departed Old Trafford in 2017 after a trying two-year stint, will decide on his future after the World Cup, although no official offers have yet been made.

According to the article, if the 28-year-old decides he wants to go, his representatives would allegedly work to arrange a January departure. Depay joined United in 2015 for £30 million and played 53 times, although he only managed seven goals.
