Sergio Ramos will be on Spain’s World Cup roster.

On Friday, Luis Enrique will choose his preliminary World Cup roster, and rumors have it that Sergio Ramos would be included.

The 55-man roster will be finalized tomorrow, and on November 11—right before the competition begins—it will be reduced to 26 players. Diario AS claims that Spain won’t make the list available to the public. They may want to modify it in light of the mounting injuries. In the event of an injury, players may be called up to the final squad up to 24 hours before to the tournament’s first match.

Ramos has a slim possibility of being included on that list. Since he hasn’t been a part of a team since March 2021, he will probably be at the bottom of the list.

Allegedly included on the list are renowned young people Alejandro Balde and Nico Williams. The former received a cap during the most recent international break, while the latter is probably still a step or two behind Jose Gaya and Jordi Alba. The key question is whether Ansu Fati makes it, even if Sergio Canales and Borja Iglesias are also on the longlist.
