Messi and other Argentina players are prevented from seeing Sergio Aguero

Sergio Aguero has disclosed that the Argentine FA forbade him from going to see Lionel Scaloni’s team at their base of operations for the 2022 World Cup.

The 34-year-old, who has 101 international appearances to his name, traveled to Qatar to cheer on Lionel Messi and company.

However, Aguero was told that it would not be possible to get the proper credentials in time for him to meet the team.

“I have not yet watched the national team. Everything seems a little strange. It is believed that you need a credential to enter.

The fact that it takes three or four days to organize seems odd to me.

“I inquired, and was informed that the choice was made from above.

“I find it annoying when people come on the same day as their vacation and just appear inside. It’s OK if they don’t want me to go, but just tell me directly,” Aguero added.

Due to a cardiac issue, Aguero was forced to withdraw from football earlier this year.
