Son Heung-min, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, may need surgery to stabilize a fracture near his left eye, and his participation in the World Cup is in question.

The 30-year-old Son was hurt on Tuesday during Tottenham’s 2-1 victory against Marseille in the Champions League.

A Spurs statement said, “Son will begin rehabilitation with our medical professionals after surgery, and we will inform fans more in due time.”
