Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan, according to Belgium’s head coach Roberto Martinez, will compete in the World Cup.
Belgium’s first match is against Canada on Wednesday, and Lukaku is still out due to injury.
Only Lukaku isn’t in excellent form out of my 25 players, the coach said.
Although we are pleased with his improvement, we are unsure whether he will be totally ready for the second or third game. Even though he didn’t work with the other members of the group yesterday, he made significant progress.
Martinez remarked on Lukaku in particular, “If I listen to the doctors, he’ll be ready for the third game. It’s feasible to bring him back for the second match if I pay attention to him.
