In January, there were rumors that Franck Kessie will rejoin Serie A.

Since landing in Catalonia, Franck Kessie, a midfielder for Barcelona, has had difficulty. With Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi, and Sergio Busquets in front of him in the pecking order, the Ivory Coast international has plenty of competition for positions.

Kessie has played less minutes than everyone except Hector Bellerin, Memphis Depay, and Pablo Torre combined. Additionally, the top two have missed much of the season with injuries.

Numerous Serie A teams are interested in bringing Kessie back to Italian football, according to Calciomercato, as reported by Sport. Most certainly, a loan would be involved.

Still, that seems quite implausible. Kessie has just recently arrived, therefore she is unlikely to want to immediately sign a four-year contract. Barcelona is pleased with his attitude and work ethic as well.

The only way that may occur is if Barcelona tries to open up pay cap space so they can add another alternative.

As he gets used to life in Camp Nou, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano predicts that the agreement will also fall through.
