Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool striker, reportedly likely miss the World Cup after hurting himself playing for Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The Senegal attacker was pulled out of Bayern’s 6-1 Bundesliga victory against Werder Bremen after 20 minutes due to what seemed to be a knee injury.

Additionally, according to sources from Senegal and France through L’Equipe on Wednesday morning, Mane will miss the World Cup because of a “few weeks” of absence. The World Cup will begin in Qatar at the end of this week.
