The Black Stars’ head coach has released his final 26-man roster for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Amazingly, Joseph Paintsil of KAA Gent and Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffery Schlupp were not included on the list.
Asante Kotoko shorts leader Danlad Ibrahim and Swiss-based Lawrence Ati-Zigi, though, get the nod in place of injured Joojo Wollocot and Richard Ofori.
The final 26-man roster is shown below:
Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, and Ibrahim Danlad are goalkeepers.
Denis Odoi, Tariq Lamptey, Alidu Seidu, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul Rahman Baba, and Gideon Mensah are the defendants.
Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Elisha Owusu, Salis Abdul Samed, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Kamal Sowah, Osman Bukari, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh are the midfielders/wingers.
Iaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, and Jordan Ayew are the strikers.
