Eden Hazard’s January bid from Newcastle
According to reports, Newcastle United is interested in bringing Eden Hazard, a former Chelsea star, back to the Premier League.
The Belgian international is said to be prepared to quit Los Blancos as early as the January transfer window after struggling with form and fitness since joining Real Madrid in 2019 after leaving the Blues.
Despite Karim Benzema’s injury issues this season, Hazard has only appeared in three of Real Madrid’s 13 league games so far in 2022–23, as Carlo Ancelotti has not shown much love for the 31-year-old.

He’s been linked with a move abroad as a consequence, hoping to put an end to his miserable period at Santiago Bernabeu and restart his career.
Belgian news outlets claim that Hazard has already told Thibaut Courtois, a Real Madrid goalkeeper and teammate from Belgium, that he plans to quit Los Blancos when the 2022 Qatar World Cup is over.
Additionally, a number of clubs have surfaced as possible landing spots for the former Chelsea star. According to El Nacional, despite Hazard’s injury issues, both Newcastle and Aston Villa are interested in signing him.
Hazard must acknowledge that his Real Madrid career is ended after playing zero Clasico minutes ever.
To Newcastle, Hazard?
The club with the most interest in acquiring the Belgian, according to reports, is Newcastle. Eddie Howe’s team is apparently eager to revive Hazard’s career by bringing him to St. James’ Park.
El Nacional claims that Newcastle is prepared to make Real Madrid an offer of €20 million to capture Hazard, even though it would be a significant loss compared to the sum they spent Chelsea to get him in 2019.
Hazard’s Real Madrid contract is set to expire in 2024, giving the Spanish powerhouses a short window of opportunity to offload him before he becomes a free agent.
Hazard would certainly face competition from Allan Saint-Maximin for a spot in Newcastle’s starting lineup and would provide elite experience to a team aspiring to push for a European title.
