Pele, a national hero of Brazil, is in good health and fully in control of his essential functions.

“Without the necessity for hospitalization in an intensive care unit or semi-intensive unit, the patient was transferred to a common room after a medical examination.

 

The former athlete is in stable clinical condition and fully in charge of all important functions.

 

Pele had had surgery to remove a tumor from his intestines last year and has since been in and out of the hospital many times.
