Brazil will win the 2022 World Cup, according to Rio Ferdinand
Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United legend, picked England to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ferdinand claims that Brazil is the only team in the current World Cup that can compete with the Three Lions.
Following its victory over Senegal in the round of 16, England will play France in the World Cup quarterfinal on Saturday.
Ferdinand stated on the FIVE YouTube channel, “I watched France play [against Poland] before the England game [against Senegal] and I had them down as one of my favourites.
“But they are missing five players from the first team, so France is a weaker team. After seeing that game, I have absolutely no fear for France. Only Kylian Mbappe is to be feared.
“I don’t see it being a problem against France if England can contain Mbappe.
“Undoubtedly, England is the superior team. I predict that England will win the World Cup.
“Brazil is the only team that, in my opinion, can compete with England. They possess the personality and character needed to pull that off. They have seasoned European athletes.
