Regulatory Agency Aiming To Address Tiny Hiccups – Farouk

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) is working with other stakeholders to ameliorate the mild tightness being observed in the distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) (PMS).

Mr Farouk Ahmed, Authority Chief Executive, NMDPRA made this known in a statement on Sunday.

He noted that activities in loading depots have completely restarted, after the limitation of movements during the recently finished Presidential and National Assembly elections, which forced truck drivers to go to do their civic duty.

The chief executive stated the public should take notice that the present stock sufficiency was at 35.39 days for PMS, 34.86 days for Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and 31.36 days for Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK) (ATK).

“The authority continues to work towards assuring supply and distribution dependability countrywide and strongly recommends against panic buying,” the ACE added.
