Ondo Gunmen Kidnap A Female And Want N10m In Ransom.

Adetutu Okinbaloye, 19, was kidnapped by gunmen believed to be kidnappers yesterday while she lived in the Imoru village of the state’s Ose Local Council.

The girl, who lives with her aunt, according to The Guardian, was kidnapped by seven men who attacked the house where she was living.

According to reports, the kidnappers hacked the victim’s aunt with a machete as she begged them not to take her niece.

Sources in the neighborhood said that the kidnappers contacted the family and wanted N10 million as ransom.

After the incident, local security personnel have been searching the axis’s woodlands for signs of the kidnappers.

Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, a spokeswoman for the Ondo State Police Command, responded by stating that the crime had not yet been formally reported to the police.

However she said that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in the region had verified that one individual had been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.

The situation in Imoru wasn’t formally reported to the station, but the DPO said the town’s ruler informed him three individuals had been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen. The third was taken away while the other two managed to escape, she said.
