Obasanjo expresses sympathy to AfDB President Adesina at the loss of his mother.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo offered Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina his condolences on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Eunice Adesina, on behalf of the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The late Eunice was described as a tireless worker who devoted her life to her family and the church of Christ by the former president in a letter to Adesina.

The dead, who died on December 22, 2022, at the age of 92, had a happy life, according to the speaker, who also said that her influence on her family was seen in the accomplishments of her children.

“I read with grief about Mama, Chief, Mrs. Eunice Adesina’s transition to glory.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathies and prayers on behalf of my family as you cope with her absence’s permanency.

You should, however, be comforted since she lived a life of learning, hard work, and commitment, he added. “The death of a mother is never an easy time to endure,” he said.

According to Obasanjo, Eunice and her late husband, Mr. Roland Adesina, benefited from God’s favor, which let them make an effect before their deaths.

The former president said that “mom was one in a million,” while asking the grieving to find comfort in the knowledge that she had made her fair share of contributions to human growth.

“Her children and daughters-in-law are a good reflection of her motherhood.

“I can confirm that her sons, and you in particular, are men of tremendous integrity and accomplishment in their own right.

Even as you commemorate her time on earth, you should provide consolation to those of you she left behind.

While Obasanjo acknowledged that all people will eventually travel the same route, he emphasized the need to be ready for one’s legacy.
