Obasanjo Can’t Win His Polling Unit, How I Feel for You

The support of Peter Obi of the Labour Party by former president Olusegun Obasanjo has prompted a response from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate.

Obi is at danger for associating with the former president, according to Tinubu, who said that Obasanjo cannot win his electoral district.

Nobody in Ogun State, according to Tinubu, could depend on Obasanjo to become governor or a council member, according to Mr. Bayo Onanuga, director of media and publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

The APC candidate for president said that no one has ever been elected president of Nigeria thanks to the prior leader.

According to Onanuga’s assertion, President Obasanjo has not been successful in influencing the outcome of an election in Nigeria since that time.

“No one can depend on his backing or endorsement to become a governor or councillor, not even in Ogun State.

In the next presidential election on February 25, 2023, “we pity Peter Obi since we are convinced that Chief Obasanjo cannot win his voting unit and ward in Abeokuta for Obi.”

Obasanjo’s support for Obi, according to Tinubu, is not “political cash” that the LP presidential candidate may use to go abroad.

The previous president was not “a political force” in Nigeria, he said.

The former governor of Lagos State recalled how Obasanjo supported PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar against President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

However, he pointed out that Buhari easily beat Atiku with his help.

When Tinubu easily beats Obi in February, he will fulfill his promise to make history repeat itself.
