My expulsion from the PDP is invalid, Nnamani

Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani (PDP-Enugu) claims the National Working Committee’s (NWC) suspension of him from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is invalid.

This was said in a statement made in Abuja by Nnamani, the National Assembly representative for Enugu-East.

He said that the PDP suspension without a hearing was “incurably chaotic” and would ultimately fail.

Nnamani claimed that the PDP’s refusal to abide by its own constitution, which stipulates that important political positions should be rotated between the South and the North to ensure harmony, peace, fairness, equity, and justice, was the reason he made the decision to camp out with Asawaju Bola Tinubu.

“As things are, the PDP lacks fairness, justice, and equality since the National Chairman and the Presidential Candidate both from the same region.

I’m only practicing my freedom of association and choice. I support Tinubu on this issue,” he said.

Nnamani asked the PDP leadership to clean house, claiming that his expulsion from the party lacked support on a moral and legal level.
