Mbaka Lashes Out At Kanu, The Redesigned Naira, And The Gasoline Shortage.

Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari sternly about the ongoing decline of the nation and urged him to “transform” or prepare to bear the consequences of his deeds.

Mbaka bemoaned the difficulties Nigerians are experiencing due to the ongoing arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the redesign of the naira, and gasoline shortages, saying that “government has screwed up the nation.”

Mbaka had already foretold Buhari’s victory in 2015, referring to him as the “messiah.”

In January of this year, months after being suspended and transferred to a monastery by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, the Catholic priest returned to his Adoration Ministry. He expressed his sorrow for what Nigerians are going through.

Mbaka remarked in a Sunday speech to tens of thousands of his supporters in Emene, Enugu, “I implore the present administration to change or you people would weep, because you cannot face what you are inviting to yourself.

Who are you now leading when the Hausa, the Fulani, the Yoruba, the Igbo, the Niger Delta people, and the Middle Belt people are all crying?

In reference to Kanu’s situation, he said: “Only in Nigeria can a court order someone released while the government would refuse and keep them in custody.

“We pray for Kanu’s release; Ndigbo suffer because of things they are ignorant of; students and employees refuse to go to work on Mondays; everything is locked up, but our leaders don’t care; it doesn’t worry them; how can you claim it doesn’t affect you? Being a leader requires compassion.
