Inec Warns The Public About Phony Security Personnel Id Cards.

Reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) gave security staff identification cards with its name and emblem and bearing the words “Full Access” have been denied.

Festus Okoye, commissioner of communication and voter education for INEC, said in a statement that the agency did not provide the identification card.

Okoye brought up the fact that security agencies issued identity cards to security personnel on election duty.

According to him, anybody using an identification card purportedly provided by INEC for security personnel is just doing an unlawful task and should be detained and punished.

He asked the general population to alert security services about such people.
