Atiku Asked Kwankwaso For An Alliance By Sending Prominent Figures.

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is allegedly sending influential people to Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), to persuade him to withdraw from the race and support him, according to NNPP chieftain Buba Galadima.

In an interview with Trust TV’s Daily Politics, Galadima made this claim and said that the NNPP will triumph even in Atiku’s electoral district.

We will beat Atiku in Adamawa State’s Jada Local Government, he said. This contest does not include Atiku. Though he is on paper, he is not a candidate. What strategy would he use to triumph?

“Atiku is employing religious leaders to get Kwankwaso to resign for him. Atiku also utilized previous presidents of state and other notable individuals, traditional rulers, and billions of naira to convince them to approach Kwankwaso and ask him to resign.

“He tried to influence by using northern organizations, claiming that they had spoken to the candidates and deemed Atiku to be the best. They understand that they could not realize their ideal.

“Compared to them, we are more northern. I’m from Gashua, whereas Kwankwaso is from Kano. I am farther north than them and older since my community is around 50 kilometers from the furthest north.

“Recently, he (Atiku) sent a group of three eminent Islamic scholars to Kwankwaso’s home to prostrate themselves in support of his request to resign; we drove them away. Of course, who are they? We will ask young guys to deal with them if they remove the regalia because we respect it.
