Armed Robbers Are Stopped By Fct Police In The Kabusa Region.
Police officers from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command are said to have put an armed robbery situation in the FCT’s Kabusa suburb under control.
In response to a distress call concerning an armed robbery incident in the ECWA 2 community of Kabusa Village, the Kabusa Police Division quickly intervened, according to FCT Command spokesman DSP Josephine Adeh.
One Barreta Pistol, one round of live 9mm ammo, two axes, one cell phone, and one silver whistle are a few of the items that were found at the site.
“The police officers responded quickly to the complaint, working with the community to mobilize to the location. When the criminals saw the police squad, they fired their weapons at them, starting a gunfight. However, one of the armed robbers was eliminated by the police’s superior shooting, and the others fled the scene while still bleeding from gunshot wounds. To catch the fleeing cohorts, efforts are being made.
When the hoodlums arrived, they quickly took two locals who had been hurt there to the hospital, where they received medical attention and were later released. The on-duty doctor also verified that the thief was deceased.
In the meanwhile, locals have received praise from CP Sadiq Abubakar, the commissioner of police, for their fast notice of and assistance to the police. He promised that incidences of crimes of this kind will be properly addressed and swiftly put an end to while measures are stepped up to avoid any harm to public safety.
