Adhoc Candidates Are Cautioned By Npc Not To Become Victims Of Fraud.

The National Population Commission (NPC) has issued a warning to potential ad hoc workers for the 2023 population and housing census, advising them to exercise care and avoid becoming a victim of imposters posing as NPC employees.

The warning was made in a statement released on Tuesday in Akure by Mr. Yemi Falusi, the Ondo State Director of NPC.

According to Falusi, consideration for employment as ad hoc personnel for the commission for the next population and housing census was absolutely free.

In order to avoid losing their hard-earned money, the director there recommended people who had sought for positions as ad hoc workers to exercise caution.

Also, he urged anybody who could have been a victim of these scammers and lost any amount of money to contact law police so that those responsible for the crime can be apprehended and prosecuted.

Falusi said that the commission has received several complaints of the actions of these dishonest individuals, making the sensitization and warnings necessary.

He asserts that the commission’s fundamental duty is to safeguard its integrity and see to it that those who commit crimes in the commission’s name are prosecuted.
