Three-year prison sentence for a man who stole bread and other goods

26-year-old male Victor Samson was sentenced to three years in jail for stealing bread and other items worth N679,000.

Samson entered a guilty plea after he was arraigned and appeared before an Ore Magistrate Court in the state of Osun.

According to police prosecutor Inspector Martins Gbenga, who stated before the court that the defendant was not a first-time offender, the defendant broke into many establishments at Major Sawmill Junction, Ondo Road, Ore.

Packs of soft drinks, table water, a carton of wine, and 50 loaves of bread are just a few of the things he took.

Samson pleaded guilty to the four charges, and magistrate O. A. Omofolarin found him guilty and sentenced him to three years in jail.
