The best presidential candidate we have in this country is Peter Obi, according to Governor Ortom

As Nigeria approaches the 2023 presidential election, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom said that if he were God, he would have chosen Peter Obi, a presidential candidate for the Labour Party, LP, to lead the nation.

He gave a speech in the Benue state capital of Makurdi while touring flood victims there.

According to Governor Ortom, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate is the best choice for the nation and has the skills necessary to free Nigeria from its economic and security problems.

He said this:

“Obi is one of the best contenders we have in this nation if Nigeria has to make a decision. You (Obi) have the ability to make things work in terms of education, character, performance, reaching out, being a pan-Nigerian, industrialization, and passion to ensure that our country is liberated from where we are, out of insecurity to security, out of economic woes to economic vibrancy, and out of lack to adequate social life.

Ortom said that nobody can block “whomever God chose as the country’s future president,” praising Obi’s forebears as “a guy of competence.”
