Obi advises ignoring the Labour Party Manifesto.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president, has ignored the party manifesto that is now being distributed.

The former governor of Anambra revealed that his manifesto has not yet been properly issued in a message on his verified Twitter account.

Prior to the LP flagbearer announcement, it was widely reported that Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed had unveiled a seven-point platform outlining how they intended to address the nation’s issues if elected in the next presidential election in 2023.

Doyin Okupe, the head of Obi’s campaign, said on Sunday that the platform was called “The Pact with Nigeria.” The 48-page policy paper, according to Okupe, prioritizes the actions that the Obi-Baba Ahmed administration would do if it were elected the president of Nigeria.

The people should ignore the manifesto that is now circulating, Obi emphasized, as he will personally reveal the final, authorized version of the manifesto.

“Our Manifesto has not yet been officially published. I’ll carry it out personally. It seems that a previous draft copy that was being reviewed has gotten into the public domain. Please ignore anything is distributed until I release the authorized and final draft. said Obi.
