Ned Nwoko: Wike Will Serve Time For His Atrocities

The verbal spat between Senator Ned Nwoko and Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has intensified.

Wike had attacked Nwoko in a video over the $418 in Paris Club returns.

But in a statement issued by his Media Directorate and personally signed by him, Nwoko pledged that Wike would soon be jailed for his alleged corrupt acts.

Read the Ned Nwoko Media Directorate’s news release below:

“The Ned Nwoko Media Directorate has been made aware of a cowardly video in which Nyesome Wike, the governor of Rivers state, is said to have made outrageous accusations about Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko.

Characteristic of the chatty governor, he carelessly dabbled once more in the $418 Paris Club refunds, which Prince Ned Nwoko was legally entitled to receive thanks to his patriotic ingenuity as a renowned lawyer who secured billions of dollars in favor of local and state governments, with Wike’s administration as one of the beneficiaries.

“Wike had reprimanded Ned Nwoko for claiming funds the foreign lawyer had legitimately earned and had the federal government approve following numerous federal high court, court of appeal, and supreme court judgments, as well as approvals from the federal government and the president and three different EFCC reports supporting the payments.

When do requests for professional fees that have been properly authorized by statutory authorities and examined by anti-corruption organizations like the EFCC and DSS turn into “fraud”? Wike’s vile and reprehensible wild goose chase disgusts us.
