In Nasarawa, Peter Obi declares the presidential elections open.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State, promised Nigerians on Saturday that, if elected president in 2023, he has the ability to reverse the country’s unfavorable perception.

Speaking during the formal launch of his presidential campaign in Lafia, Obi said that if elected president of Nigeria, his goal would be to address the issues that the nation and its people face.

Obi stated that Nigerians are eager to have a leader who can implement innovative ideas and lift the nation out of poverty.

The previous governor of Anambra said that Nigeria was unstable, unproductive, and on the danger of disintegrating.

“Our objective is to tackle their difficulties, given the magnitude of Nigeria’s challenges.

Solving problems is a leader’s primary responsibility.

“I maintain that the Labour party has a variety of candidates who are qualified and capable to deal with the flood crisis, put an end to instability, and provide the young a solid and sustainable life.”

However, the candidate for the Labour party told Nigerians that his government will prioritize smart resource management if elected.

According to him, agriculture would get the proper attention, and Nigeria’s unity would be restored.
