FRSC: Bauchi road collision results in 5 fatalities and 5 injuries.

On Friday, tragedy struck when a car collision in the town of Zaranda on the Bauchi-Jos route resulted in the deaths of five people.

This information was provided to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bauchi on Saturday in a road traffic collision report that Yusuf Abdullahi, the Sector Commander, FRSC, made public.

According to the head of the FRSC, five other persons were critically hurt in the collision between an articulated truck and a commercial Galaxy Ford sedan at about 7:05 p.m.

According to him, it only took the corps members around 11 minutes to get to the accident site and start clearing it.

The sector commander blamed overloading, lack of control, and speeding for the accident.

“The deadly traffic accident included twelve persons, all of them were adult males.

“Five of them died instantly, five others had major injuries, including fractures and bruising, and two escaped unharmed,” he added.

Abdullahi said that the deceased’s body and the wounded individual had both been sent to Toro Local Government Area’s General Hospital for treatment and verification.

However, the commander cautioned motorists to constantly be alert to traffic laws and regulations while using the roadways.
