According to Soludo, Obidients Are A Threat To PDP, Not APGA.

Governor of Anambra State Charles Soludo has endorsed Professor Peter Umeadi, who is running for president in the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee, and his “Obidients” supporters, according to Soludo, pose no threat to the APGA.

He also emphasized that the Obidient movement was a Peoples Democratic Party spinoff.

The Anambra governor asserted that APGA continued to be the third-largest political party in the nation in a statement released on Sunday by his special adviser on political matters, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu.

Supporting any other party, according to Soludo, could harm the chances of the APGA winning the general election in 2023 because the main opposition party did not treat the South-East fairly by zoning its presidency to the North.

According to the number of political positions it has gained, APGA continues to be Nigeria’s third-largest political party.

“APGA has state governors, National Assembly members, and state assembly members.

“APGA does not see the “Obidient Movement” wave as a threat to achieving its objectives by 2023.

“The PDP has spawned the LP and the ‘Obidient Movement. As a result, they really threaten PDP rather than APGA.
