3 people narrowly avoid dying in the Osun car collision – FRSC

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Command, three people narrowly avoided dying in a collision on the expressway between Ikire and Ibadan.

This was said by the Osun Sector Commander, Mr. Paul Okpe, in a statement made in Osogbo by his Public Enlightenment Officer, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi.

In Asejire bridge, 2 kilometers from Ikoyi junction in Osun, according to Okpe, the accident happened about 8:45 on Saturday.

According to him, a fast orange commercial vehicle with the license plate ABG 266XF lost control and veered off the highway track.

He said that there were three people in the car, only one of whom suffered serious injuries, and the others were unharmed.

The sector commander said that the Nigerian Police Force’s Ikire Divisional Unit pulled the trailer off the bridge and removed the impediment.

He said that the FRSC egbeda unit leadership had transported the wounded person to a nearby hospital for further care.

Okpe, however, asserted that the edict would not spare anybody caught breaking traffic laws.
