Atiku: "Stop campaigning and apologize to Nigerians for misleading them." 1 NaijaNoWellThe TInubu/Shettima Campaign attempted to contrast what it saw as the prosperous years of the PDP with “the famished years” of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in office. The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign on Saturday rejected this attempt, saying it is further evidence that a “lying spirit plagues the APC Presidential Campaign.”

The PDP campaign demanded that Bola Tinubu, the candidate for the governing party, apologize to Nigerians rather than carry on with his campaign while pointing out that the PDP years were noticeably better than the APC years.

This is stated in a statement made by Kola Ologbondiyan, the organization’s spokeswoman.

“It is as obvious as daylight that life in Nigeria was notably better under the PDP before Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his APC deceived Nigerians and installed a deceptive, corrupt, and incompetent administration that has wrecked our economy and imposed an era of pain, sorrow, anguish, and mass killing on our country,” the statement read.

“It is regrettable that Asiwaju Tinubu is out there with another box of falsehoods with which he seeks to deceive Nigerians once again, at a time when they expect him to be repentant and plead for forgiveness.

“The inept, dishonest, and insensitive APC is the only political party in the world that should never run for office due to its many failures.

“Nigerians are already aware that the Tinubu campaign is attempting to deflect attention away from its failure to explain or process governance-related problems as well as Asiwaju Tinubu’s reluctance to engage in discussion in the media or in public spaces.
