Claims Pep Guardiola Erling Haaland is not yet fully well.

Erling Haaland is still a few ways away from being fully fit, according to Pep Guardiola, who also said he is unsure whether the Norwegian will play against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Before playing against Fulham on the weekend, Haaland missed two games—one in the Premier League and one in Europe—after suffering a foot injury in a draw away at Borussia Dortmund at the end of last month.

The substitute Norwegian scored a last-second penalty to rescue Guardiola’s team and temporarily put them atop the league.

Guardiola assured that Haaland was regaining his health after a brief layoff in his remarks before to Wednesday’s visit from Graham Potter’s Chelsea team. He also added that Haaland may still go with Norway for their friendly against Ireland and Finland the following week.

He is still far from flawless. The results tomorrow. The bone must not be shattered, he stressed.

Guardiola’s response to the question of whether or not Haaland could play on Wednesday was that he did not yet know and that they will learn more on Tuesday afternoon.

In the meanwhile, the Catalan was questioned about whether the team may attempt to add players during the January transfer window in light of City’s strong financial figures revealed on Monday.

Guardiola said, seemingly impatient with the query, “We’re not going to sign anybody in January.” We’ve got the squad.

The Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the owners of Liverpool, reportedly intended to put the club up for sale as City announced their record-breaking earnings.

When asked about it, Guardiola said that he did not want to discuss other teams.

“I’m not the best person to ask or to respond,” I said. Since I’m not involved and the CEO, I am unable to respond. I attempt to function. I won’t discuss other clubs, he said.
